Srishti Dabas, a Delhi native, achieved an extraordinary feat by topping the UPSC exam on her first attempt, without any coaching. Her journey highlights the dedication and determination required to crack one of India’s toughest exams.

Early Life and Career

Hailing from Delhi, Srishti Dabas has been based in the capital since her school days. She has a background working with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and currently serves with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Mumbai. Besides her career achievements, Srishti is also an accomplished Kathak dancer, showcasing her diverse talents.

Preparation Journey

While balancing her responsibilities at RBI, Srishti embarked on her UPSC preparation journey. She dedicated her nights to studying after working during the day. Her disciplined approach paid off when she secured All India Rank 6 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023, all on her first attempt and through self-study alone.

Srishti credits her parents for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout her journey. Her achievement underscores her commitment and diligence, proving that with perseverance, success is attainable.

UPSC 2024 Updates

The UPSC conducted interviews for the Civil Services Examination from January 2 to April 9, 2024. Approximately 2,916 candidates qualified for the interview round after clearing the UPSC CSE Mains.

Srishti Dabas’ journey serves as an inspiration to aspirants across the country, demonstrating that with determination and focused effort, even the toughest challenges can be conquered.
