As per ICC, India, the tournament champions, were awarded a cash prize of $2.45 million. According to the ICC, the winning team will receive a minimum of 20.42 crore.

The ICC announced a prize fund of $11.25 million, equivalent to nearly ₹94 crore, for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, describing it as “record-breaking.”

South Africa, the second-place finisher in the T20 World Cup, was awarded a minimum of $1.28 million, equivalent to ₹10.6 crore, in prize money.
