The BYD Seal EV, priced at over Rs 41 lakh, marks the latest acquisition in the Ambani family’s collection of super-expensive vehicles. This flagship offering from BYD was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023 and has quickly garnered attention for its advanced features and impressive performance.
In the international market, the BYD Seal EV is available with two battery pack options – 61.4kWh and 82.5kWh, both based on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0. The former offers a range of 550 km on a single charge, while the latter extends it to an impressive 700 km. With a powerful battery system generating 312 horsepower, the car boasts a swift acceleration from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in just 5.9 seconds, as claimed.
For enthusiasts seeking even more power, the dual-motor model of the BYD Seal EV features an AWD system, delivering a remarkable 530 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.8 seconds.
Inside the cabin, the BYD Seal EV is equipped with cutting-edge technology, reminiscent of the brand’s reputation for innovation. Similar to the BYD Atto 3, it features a 15.6-inch rotating infotainment display in the centre console, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver’s convenience and entertainment.
