Mukesh Ambani, the titan of India’s corporate landscape and chairman of Reliance Industries, oversees a conglomerate valued at an astounding Rs 1,983,000 crore, solidifying its position as the country’s most valuable enterprise. In a pivotal move, Ambani entrusted the reins of Reliance Retail to his daughter, Isha Ambani, in August 2022.

Since assuming leadership, Isha Ambani has steered Reliance Retail, currently valued at over Rs 820,000 crore, towards remarkable growth and expansion. The retail behemoth has forged strategic partnerships with numerous prominent brands, signaling a new era of innovation and collaboration.

In line with this trajectory, Isha Ambani’s Reliance Retail recently sealed a landmark deal with Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone. The partnership entails the integration of products from Deepika Padukone’s self-care brand, 82°E, into Reliance Retail’s offline channels, amplifying the brand’s presence across diverse markets.

Commenting on the collaboration, Isha Ambani emphasized its alignment with Reliance Retail’s commitment to democratizing access to high-quality beauty products for every Indian. The inclusion of 82°E products within Reliance Retail’s expansive network is poised to enhance the self-care journey for consumers nationwide.

Notably, 82°E is part of The Indian Retail Association (TIRA), co-founded by Bhakti Modi, a trusted associate of Mukesh Ambani. TIRA competes with established players in the beauty and wellness sector such as Nykaa, Tata Cliq Palette, and Myntra. To bolster its market presence, TIRA strategically enlisted A-list celebrities including Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, as brand ambassadors during its launch phase.

The collaboration between Reliance Retail and 82°E underscores the conglomerate’s commitment to driving innovation and fostering partnerships that cater to the evolving needs of Indian consumers. With Isha Ambani at the helm, Reliance Retail continues to chart a course of growth and excellence in the competitive retail landscape.
