Nikhil Kamath, the co-founder of Zerodha, has launched WTFund, a pioneering non-dilutive grant fund targeting young entrepreneurs aged 25 and under. The fund aims to empower individuals with innovative ideas and ambitious visions to revolutionize their respective industries.

WTFund offers a comprehensive package, including a non-dilutive grant of ₹20 lakh, allowing founders to maintain full equity in their ventures. Alongside financial support, the fund provides access to operator-first mentorship pods, a vibrant community within the WTF ecosystem, a Go-To-Market (GTM) studio, beta testing, and feedback opportunities. Moreover, it facilitates talent acquisition through an internship program, a fractional CXO database, and moonlighting opportunities.

“Young founders tend to create the most impact within entrepreneurship. At WTF, our goal is to cultivate a culture that encourages young entrepreneurs to embrace risk by providing a comprehensive support system. We are excited to launch the fund and see where it goes,” said Nikhil Kamath in a statement.

The WTFund is set to select forty exceptional entrepreneurs under the age of 25 for funding and mentorship spanning one year, aiming to identify the top 1% of young talents. Through a rigorous screening process, chosen founders will receive ongoing support until they secure their inaugural institutional funding. Distinguished as the largest grant of its category, WTFund welcomes applications from entrepreneurs across all sectors.
