Electric scooters are swiftly gaining traction in the Indian market, with a particular focus on budget-friendly options. In line with this trend, Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer Ather has unveiled its latest offering, the Ather Rizta, to compete with popular models like the TVS iQube, Ola S1, and Hero Vida V1.

Price and Competition:

Ather has strategically priced the Rizta at Rs 1.10 lakh ex-showroom, positioning it as a formidable contender in its segment. Available in three variants, including Rizta S with a 2.9 kWh battery and Rizta Z with a 3.7 kWh battery, the scooter promises a sleek design and impressive features to attract consumers.

Features and Range:

The base-spec Rizta S starts at Rs 1.10 lakh, while the Rizta Z variant offers additional features and color options at Rs 1.25 lakh. The top-end Rizta Z, priced at Rs 1.45 lakh, aims to cater to discerning riders. With a claimed range of 123 km for the 2.9 kWh battery pack model and 160 km for the 3.7 kWh battery pack variant, the Ather Rizta ensures practicality without compromising on performance.

Design and Safety:

Boasting a sharp and sleek design, the Ather Rizta comes in three monotone colors for the S variant and seven color options, including monotone and dual-tone, for the Z variant. Safety features such as traction control system, skid control system, emergency stop signal (ESS), and theft and tow detect system enhance rider confidence and security.

Accessories and Launch Offer:

In conjunction with the scooter launch, Ather introduces the Halo helmets, with the Halo Bit priced at Rs 4,999 and the Halo at Rs 14,999. Customers can avail of a pre-order discount of Rs 2,000 on these accessories.

With its competitive pricing, impressive range, and advanced features, the Ather Rizta aims to make a significant impact in the burgeoning electric scooter market, offering consumers a compelling alternative in the quest for sustainable urban mobility.
