Riyadh is gearing up to welcome aviation industry experts from around the globe for the much-anticipated Future Aviation Forum 2024 (FAF 2024). Under the esteemed patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) is set to organize the third edition of the forum from May 20 to 22.
The Future Aviation Forum 2024 is expected to draw over 5,000 international experts, leaders of international airlines, and officials from aviation authorities worldwide to discuss pressing global aviation issues. The agenda includes topics such as air transportation, environmental sustainability in civil aviation, advanced air transport technologies, and strategies to enhance global connectivity.
With a focus on advancing national strategic objectives in aviation, the forum aims to position Saudi Arabia as a leading logistics center in the Middle East and foster an attractive investment environment in the sector. The event will serve as a platform for high-level discussions and collaborations among heads of states, CEOs of international airlines, manufacturers, airport executives, and industry leaders to shape the future of international air transport.
The previous edition of the forum, held in Saudi Arabia, saw the participation of representatives from 60 countries. It resulted in the signing of 52 agreements and memoranda of understanding, the convening of 116 bilateral meetings, and the introduction of several significant policies and strategies for the civil aviation sector. Moreover, numerous partnerships between the public and private sectors were forged during the event, highlighting its importance as a catalyst for industry collaboration and innovation.
