To expedite the clearance of this surplus stock, dealerships are extending a flat discount of Rs 20,000, coupled with insurance benefits and supplementary dealer discounts, aggregating to a maximum of Rs 50,000, contingent upon unsold inventory.

Most Tata showrooms currently maintain a stock of approximately five to ten units of the Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC FC variant, expected to be offered with these attractive discounts. With these concessions in place, the ex-showroom prices of the top-spec model could potentially plummet from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. However, despite the markdown, it’s worth noting that the top-tier Citroen eC3 Shine Dual Tone Vibe remains competitively priced at Rs 13.49 lakh, albeit with relatively fewer features.

Notably, the Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC FC variant boasts a larger 35kWh battery, providing an ARAI-rated range of 421km, along with a potent 122hp motor. This variant also incorporates an array of premium features, including an electronic parking brake, hill-descent control, a sunroof, ambient lighting, leatherette seats, ventilated front seats, and advanced infotainment and driver display systems with 10.25-inch screens.
