The Pune-based firm showcased its cutting-edge technologies at the REDISCOVER roadshow held in Bengaluru, specifically tailored for Karnataka’s industrial sector. The event featured a range of solutions, including desalination plants, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems, and Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) technologies.
Ashish Bhandari, MD and CEO of Thermax, highlighted the importance of sustainability in Karnataka’s development trajectory. He emphasized the company’s commitment to providing customized solutions that align with the state’s sustainability goals while ensuring profitability for industries.
Bhandari also pointed out Bengaluru’s leadership in adopting sustainable technologies. Thermax has already made significant contributions to the city’s sustainability efforts, including the installation of India’s first electric boiler and a biomass-based boiler in collaboration with a pharmaceutical firm.
The showcased solutions at the REDISCOVER roadshow encompassed a wide array of technologies, such as water and wastewater treatment, multi-fuel and biomass-based energy solutions for waste-to-energy conversion, and renewable energy systems like solar and wind-solar hybrids. Additionally, the company presented innovations in biogas, electrical/hybrid heating and cooling solutions, and green hydrogen production, supplemented by digital and value-added services.
