The Founder and CEO of leading cloud software provider Zoho Corporation, Sridhar Vembu, has issued a pivotal message to startups worldwide: “It’s big time to invest in India.”

Addressing young entrepreneurs globally, Vembu remarked, “India presents the most opportune moment for investments.”

“Confidence in India’s prosperity is well-founded; it boasts one of the most dynamic and robust economies globally. India is poised for steady growth over the coming decades,” posted Vembu on his LinkedIn.

“I’ve spoken with numerous industrial establishments, major companies, colleges, and various forums across India and abroad. The response from Indians living abroad, eager to return to India and contribute, has been overwhelming. I’ve encountered an engineer from a FAANG (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google) company eager to return to rural India,” stated Vembu.

He emphasized the need for a global shift in distribution channels for research and development, advocating for significant investment in India.

Highlighting the substantial investment Zoho has been making in research and development companies with capabilities equivalent to Zoho, Mr. Vembu underscored the potential in addressing challenges where technology advancements have not been adequately developed in India.

Mr. Vembu emphasized the importance of nurturing talents and capabilities, creating solutions, and nourishing innovations to address these unmet needs in India.
