Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speeches are breaking new ground in accessibility and reach, thanks to cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Now, audiences can tune in to the Prime Minister’s addresses in eight different languages on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), marking a significant leap forward in linguistic inclusivity.

This initiative follows a remarkable demonstration of AI technology during an event in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, where PM Modi delivered a speech in Hindi that was simultaneously translated into Tamil in real-time. This feat showcased the potential of AI to bridge linguistic barriers and facilitate broader communication.

PM Modi expressed optimism about this technological advancement, emphasizing its potential to enhance connectivity with diverse audiences. “This is a new beginning and hopefully, it makes it easier for me to reach you,” he remarked during the event, underscoring the importance of leveraging technology for effective communication.

Currently, PM Modi’s speeches are available in Bangla, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Marathi, Odia, and Malayalam through dedicated accounts on the social media platform X. This expansion ensures that audiences across India can access the Prime Minister’s messages in their preferred languages, fostering deeper engagement and understanding.

A senior functionary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) highlighted the significance of this initiative, noting its role in amplifying the reach of PM Modi’s speeches. By leveraging AI for real-time dubbing and translation, the Prime Minister’s addresses are reaching a wider spectrum of audiences, transcending linguistic barriers.

Sources revealed that PM Modi’s speeches are now being dubbed and broadcast in regional languages during his visits to respective states, including Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Odia, Marathi, and Malayalam. This concerted effort to embrace linguistic diversity underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive communication strategies.

The integration of AI technology into PM Modi’s communication framework marks a pivotal moment in leveraging innovation for public engagement. With the successful implementation of real-time translation during public addresses, the Prime Minister’s speeches are breaking linguistic boundaries and resonating with diverse audiences across the nation.
