Q. Can you share with us a defining moment in your life that has shaped who you are today?
Yeah, there is a couple of them, but I think the first ever defining moment was meeting my partner and him being that rock solid supporter for me and giving me that self-confidence about you’re beautiful, you can do things, you can trust in yourself kind of feeling. So yeah, that defined everything. After you mentioned about working in an.
Q. As you transition into a more creative phase of your professional journey while working in an MNC, how do you manage to balance your personal life, career demands, and the commitments associated with being a Mrs. India contestant?
Yes, it’s challenging, but having a supportive partner and a wonderful team at work and at home makes it manageable. My company and team are aware of my participation and are fully supportive, even asking where they can follow along. My children, who are older now, are understanding of my commitments, which helps. However, the Mrs. India platform comes with its own set of social activities and responsibilities, which can be demanding, especially on weekends. But overall, we’re finding a balance and managing it effectively.
Q. As someone who has encountered numerous instances of body shaming earlier in life, could you share a challenge you’ve encountered during your journey as a contestant, and elaborate on how you successfully navigated through it?
I didn’t navigate it successfully for a long time because it had a significant impact on me, even without my realization. There are still moments in my life where I struggle with myself. Some days, I wake up feeling like I have to reassure myself that everything is okay. It’s been a challenge, but I’ve overcome it with the support of strong individuals in my life, both at work and personally. However, I don’t believe it just goes away. You learn to cope with it and live with it. While I don’t feel bad every day, like everyone else, I do have certain moments of difficulty.
Q. How do you plan to inspire and empower other women or the community as a whole through your journey as a Mrs India contestant?
Yeah. So I think this is a great platform, right? There is hundred beautiful women participating in this with different background, different cultures, and I’m actually learning from them and I’m trying to make my impact and I make my story aware of it. And like you, calling me for an interview is just the start of it where I’ve been wanting to be more vocal, more expressive and inspire young girls more on this field because I know there is still this body shaming goes on. And I want to make the young girl believe that you can do more, you can do better. You just have to believe in yourself. So this is my first platform that I’ve received. So I’m really grateful for that.
Q. So finally, to the women entrepreneurs, founders and to the women in community, what is your advice to them?
Absolutely, my advice is to stay true to yourself and have confidence in your abilities. Believe in yourself, and with hard work and dedication, you can achieve anything. That’s what I firmly believe.
