In anticipation of the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), US chapter, along with Hindus from across the United States, has erected over 40 billboards in more than 10 states. These billboards prominently feature Lord Ram and the majestic shrine, symbolizing the excitement and participation of Hindu Americans in this historic event.
The grand billboards are not limited to one region, as they can be seen in states such as Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Georgia, with additional installations planned in Arizona and the State of Missouri starting January 15, according to the VHP, American chapter.
Amitabh VW Mittal, the General Secretary of the Hindu Parishad of America, highlighted the overwhelming emotions of Hindu Americans, expressing their joy and enthusiasm as they eagerly await the auspicious ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the birthplace of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.
To further commemorate the inauguration of the Ram Temple, the Hindu American community in the US has organized car rallies and various events leading up to the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the ceremonial installation of the idol of Shri Ram Lalla inside the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple on January 22.
Leaders and dignitaries from diverse backgrounds have been invited to the grand temple opening in Ayodhya, with the ceremony planned over seven days starting January 16. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Theerth Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple at noon on January 22, preceded by Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony starting January 16.
