Quince Dubai: Where Artful Dining and Personalized Design Unite for a Unique Experience

Dubai, known for its luxurious dining experiences, welcomes a unique addition to its culinary scene with Quince, an F&B destination that seamlessly blends gastronomy with art and design. Founded by the father-son duo, Amer and Abdulla Al Tamimi, Quince aims to tantalise taste buds while offering patrons the opportunity to take home a piece of the artistic ambiance.

Artistic Legacy Infused with Flavors

Situated in Umm Suqeim, Quince is not just a restaurant; it’s an extension of the Al Tamimi family’s 30-year artistic legacy in interior design. The menu showcases delectable Mediterranean delicacies, and the décor is a testament to the family’s passion for design, evident in their longstanding projects, DecoArt and D&D Home.

Dine and Design: Customised Elegance

Quince takes the concept of “dine and design” to new heights. Most items within the restaurant, from paintings to furniture, can be tailored to a guest’s preferences and delivered on demand. This personalised touch allows patrons to create a unique piece of art or furniture that compliments their individual style.

Nature Reimagined: The Tree Project

One striking feature at Quince is a majestic tree that spans the restaurant’s ceiling. This tree, crafted from repurposed dead trees, serves as a symbol of the family’s commitment to sustainable design. Guests can even order a fully-customizable version of this tree, starting from Dh3,000.

A Labor of Love: From Dead Trees to Artful Designs

The inception of Quince’s unique design elements began in 2019 when the family repurposed a tree for a wedding ceremony. Inspired by this, they scoured Al Quoz for dead trees, giving them a new purpose as artful installations within the restaurant. Each piece tells a story of renewal and creativity.

Artistic Interiors: A Feast for the Eyes

Quince’s interiors boast a curated selection of art acquisitions from the family, creating a calm and serene atmosphere. The colour palette, featuring shades of green, yellow, and gold, complements the artistic elements, including paintings, unique lighting fixtures, and bespoke furniture.

The Vision: Quince’s Culinary Aspiration

Abdulla Al Tamimi, a self-taught chef and fitness enthusiast, envisions Quince earning a coveted spot on the Michelin guide. With a passion for healthy and high-quality cuisine, Abdulla aims to establish Quince as a casual dining haven with relaxed vibes and exceptional food. As the family takes on the roles of contractors, interior designers, and chefs, Quince emerges as a true labour of love, inviting patrons to savour both culinary delights and artistic wonders.
