Founded in 2012, Ambrane India is a Delhi-based electronics company that specializes in power banks, cables, smartwatches, speakers, wearables, and more.
From Textiles to Electronics
The brainchild of Ashok Rajpal, a native of Haryana’s Sonipat district, Ambrane India has carved a niche in the electronics sector. Ashok’s journey began with assisting his father in the family’s textile business after completing his education up to the 12th grade. However, recognizing the burgeoning demand for electronics, particularly smartphones, Ashok teamed up with his brother Sanjay Rajpal to shift gears.
Founding Ambrane
With a vision to tap into the technology market, the Rajpal brothers launched Ambrane in 2012, focusing initially on manufacturing and selling power banks. To fuel their dream, they invested their personal savings of INR 10 lakhs. Their first manufacturing unit was established in Kundli, Haryana, and they strategically chose popular e-commerce platforms like Snapdeal, Flipkart, and ShopClues for product sales.
Powering Up the Market
Their decision to focus on power banks was a game-changer. Although this product category was not widely recognized in India at the time, the response was overwhelmingly positive. In a matter of days, the power banks were sold out, prompting e-commerce companies to create a dedicated product category for these devices.
Expanding Horizons
From these humble beginnings, Ambrane has grown to become a key player in the Indian electronics market. The company not only manufactures and sells mobile accessories and audio products within India but also exports to international markets like Dubai and Sweden. Their product range includes speakers, chargers, rugged cables, and power banks.
Innovation and Excellence
Ambrane’s success is fueled by its commitment to innovation. The company focuses on addressing the evolving needs of Indian consumers through inventive designs and products. Research and development, stringent quality control, and effective outreach initiatives are key pillars of their operations.
A Trail of Success
According to Entrackr, Ambrane achieved a remarkable revenue of over INR 230 crores in the fiscal year 2023. Looking ahead, the company has ambitious plans, aspiring to reach a revenue of INR 500 crores within the next two years. This trajectory underscores Ambrane’s resilience, adaptability, and unwavering dedication to meeting the dynamic demands of the tech-savvy Indian market.
