The streets and crowded alleyways of Satwa are well-known, as are the hundreds of small shops that line both sides of the road, selling everything from car décor to carrots. In the middle between this commotion is a little bistro committed to the most renowned Asian boy band on the planet – the Bangtan Young men, all the more prominently known as BTS.
Dul Set Café, which celebrates BTS, served as a meeting place for their fans or army, as they are commonly known from all over the country on June 13, the band’s 10th anniversary.
Dul Set on Monday, got ready for the anniversary with drinks named after members and boy band posters all over the place. A representative for the café stated, “Our reservations are fully booked.”
BTS is made up of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. It was formed in 2010. BTS is widely regarded as one of the most influential boy bands of all time. They have won multiple awards, performed to sold-out crowds at Wembley Stadium, and appeared at the White House. They are widely credited with contributing to the global expansion of Korean pop culture.
The café attracts a large number of fans. As soon as you enter, you are immediately struck by the purple decor, which is consistent with BTS’ purple logo. The army is ecstatic about everything, from the wallpaper to the coffee cups. Oreo Jungkookie Cheesecake Milk Tea is the beverage of choice for some, while Blueberry Jin Lemonade is the beverage of choice for others. Some individuals opt for their preferred Iced Spanish La-Taehyung. Songs, concerts, and occasionally even BTS interviews are shown on overhead television. The popular songs were being sung by a group of young people who were at the café. They joined in the singing as more people entered the café. People who had never met before became close to BTS and conversed like old friends. They frequently discussed their “bias,” or favorite member, or how they became interested in Korean pop music.
The café offers the BTS army a chance to take a piece of their favorite band home by stocking photo cards, calendars, and even special Snickers bars with the names of BTS songs on them. Dul Set occasionally puts together packages for its guests. The package features a tote bag filled with mugs, banners, posters, and more of the seven members in honor of the 10th anniversary. An extraordinary menu including customary Korean dishes like Ramyeon, Korean sweet stew chicken and Tteokbokki will likewise be presented for the event.
