Have you ever tried Pickleball? This year, you can do so at Dubai’s World Trade Centre’s Dubai Sports World (DSW), the city’s largest indoor summer sports venue.
With week after week wearing difficulties, more courts than any time in recent memory and a few free exercises, DSW returns for the thirteenth year for a lively and thrilling summer release that will endure over 100 days. One of the nine sports that UAE residents will be able to participate in during this version of the facility is pickleball, which is a combination of tennis, badminton, and table tennis.
New additions
This year, in addition to featuring the brand-new sport of pickleball, the facility will also have a fully equipped gym for fitness enthusiasts. Classes like Zumba, martial arts, and circuit training will be available as pay-as-you-go options in a brand-new, enclosed private fitness studio that can accommodate 40 people. DSW will observe World Yoga Day on June 18.
Likewise, from June 15, DSW will have new increases including Dubai Children World that will highlight fun exercises for the little ones including delicate play designs, slides, and ball pits. In addition, free activities like giant Jenga and mini golf, arm wrestling, and retro video games are available for the entire family to participate in.
There will be 12 institutes that will lead day camps inside DSW. On June 10, these academies will collaborate to host an Open Day at which children over the age of three can try out a variety of new sports. According to Saeed Hareb, secretary general of the Dubai Sports Council, the ongoing success of DSW is a sign that the city is open throughout the year.
“Whether it is the Dubai Wellness Challenge or the inside Dubai Sports World, we believe individuals should realize that Dubai never closes for game and wellness,” he said. “If you actually look around, you’ll see people of many different nationalities. In fact, we are creating a group of people who enjoy staying fit and active. That is the most crucial aspect.
In addition, DSW will host a Weekend Vibes program with carnival games, music, entertainment, and activities for kids, as well as a pop-up market with a variety of UAE-grown produce.
Every day, from 8 a.m. to midnight, Dubai Sports World takes place in Za’abeel Halls 2 through 6. Pay-as-you-go packages or seasonal memberships are available to visitors.
