Tata Technologies, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) to collaborate on developing Self Driving Vehicles (SDVs) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology. The partnership will focus on developing and testing autonomous vehicle technologies, which will be used in both passenger and commercial vehicles.

The collaboration between Tata Technologies and IIT Hyderabad aims to develop an integrated system for autonomous vehicles, which will include hardware and software components, as well as simulation tools for testing and validation. The partners will work together to create a curriculum for training engineers in the field of autonomous vehicle technology, and the collaboration will also provide opportunities for students and researchers to work on projects related to autonomous vehicles and ADAS technology.
