After launching a robot drone, UAE Police will be able to keep an eye on criminals from above. In a post on social media on Thursday, RAS Al Khaimah Police announced the introduction of the brand-new cutting-edge tools for combating crime. The Ras Al Khaimah Police Commander-in-Chief General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi introduced the drone, which will be used to detect and monitor criminal suspects from the air.
A high-resolution built-in camera will be used to record and capture images of crime scenes in high-quality, as well as track suspects. The high-tech drone also includes a built-in weather station with temperature, vibration, and humidity sensors.
It’s perfect for surveillance thanks to its wide-angle lens and built-in GPS. Al Nuaimi claimed that the drone was released in accordance with the UAE Ministry of Interior’s goal of keeping up with technical and technological developments and the improvement of the service levels provided by the Operations Department.
He said the use of a drone reflects the ongoing leadership efforts to acquire modern equipment, which contributes to the security of the Emirates.
