The BOTIM app now features the first Arabic Chat GPT, thanks to Astra Tech.
The GPT has the potential to revolutionize service access by leveraging knowledge from the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) through conversational commerce.
The AI-powered BOTIM Arabic Chat GPT platform will support all of the app’s services and guarantee that the information presented is always up-to-date and correct by continually sourcing the most recent data from local marketplaces.

Many services, including foreign money transfers, bill payments, government services, and weather checks, will be provided by BOTIM GPT.
The platform is being developed to incorporate more services in the coming months, such as BOTIM shops and healthcare services, making it the region’s ultimate one-stop-shop for customers.
“BOTIM’s Arabic Chat GPT is another key step towards simplifying people’s everyday lives and altering the global digital business while also boosting the capabilities of our future Ultra app,” stated Abdallah Abu Sheikh, Co-Founder and CEO of Astra Tech, the parent company of BOTIM.
“We are really eager to deploy the MBZUAI’s Arabic language modelling specialists to launch the service on BOTIM for a small group of consumers while we train the model.
By 2030, AI is expected to increase by 20% annually throughout the Middle East, with the UAE expected to lead the way with an average yearly contribution of close to 35%.
“We are thrilled to be on the cutting edge of technical advancement and to be opening up fresh prospects through regional academic cooperation.”
A small portion of BOTIM’s more than 100 million members will first have access to BOTIM GPT before it gradually spreads in the near future.
After the testing stage, users can enter their questions into the chat area, and the model will evaluate the sentence and provide source URLs that guide consumers to further details about a certain service of interest.
