The world’s top programmers will be granted 100,000 golden visas by the UAE as it aspires to become a magnet for international technology investment.

To increase the share of the digital economy in the national GDP, investment in AI and software development will be essential.

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy sponsored the 10th session of its quarterly digital industry seminars, concentrating this time on software development and the artificial intelligence (AI) business, as part of efforts to improve the sector.

UAE golden visa lure for tech professionals

Top executives, business leaders, specialists, and entrepreneurs came together at the event to talk about the prospects and difficulties confronting the sector.

The UAE is committed to realising the full potential of the digital economy, which has grown over the past two decades at a rate that is two and a half times faster than the rate of global GDP, according to Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

The UAE is working with all relevant stakeholders to provide a clear roadmap to encourage the digital economy and make sure that existing Government policies, initiatives, and strategies encourage innovation and business friendliness across all sectors.

Dubai is drawing an increasing number of software development specialists as it aspires to become a top location for worldwide digital investment and IT expertise.

This is consistent with the UAE’s aspirations to grant 100,000 Golden visas to the top computer programmers both inside and outside of the UAE.

Among its top priorities are:Energy and Resource Management ,Logistics and Transportation, Healthcare, Cybersecurity. The “UAE Digital Economy Strategy” seeks to increase the digital economy’s share of the UAE’s GDP to 19.4% over the course of ten years.

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is dedicated to helping the nation reach its lofty objectives and solidify Dubai’s position as a global leader in Artificial Intelligence and Software Development.
