BMW R18 Transcontinental has arrived in India with a surprising price. Ex-showroom price in India is Rs 31.50 lakh.
The Transcontinental is now the most expensive R18 in BMW Motorrad’s Indian lineup. The base BMW R18 is priced at Rs 19.90 lakh, the R 18 First Edition is priced at Rs 22.55 lakh and the R18 Classic First Edition is priced at Rs 24 lakh.
The R18 Transcontinental is powered by a 1,802 CC, air-oil-cooled boxer engine that churns out 91 hp and 158 Nm mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There are 3 riding modes: Rain, Roll and Rock.
For the BMW R18 Transcontinental
A large handlebar mounted fairing with windscreen, body colour panniers, top box, wind deflectors, alloy wheels and a pillion seat come as standard.
The BMW R18 Transcontinental features four round analog gauges and a 10.25-inch TFT screen. Another feature is the Marshall Gold Series Stage 2 sound system with six speakers and a subwoofer. The bike can be customised with a range of BMW Motorrad accessories.
