Radha Vembu was born in 1965 in a small village called Thiruvidaimarudur in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Her father was a Government school teacher and her mother was a homemaker. She grew up in a middle-class family and was the second of four siblings.

Radha Vembu showed an early interest in Mathematics and Science, and her parents encouraged her to pursue her interests. She attended a local school and excelled in her studies, earning top marks in her class.

After completing her high school education, Radha Vembu enrolled in the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Her academic performance was outstanding, and she was awarded several scholarships during her college years.

After completing her degree, Radha Vembu worked briefly for a company called Kshema Technologies before joining her brother Sridhar Vembu at AdventNet, a software development company. She worked at AdventNet for several years before co-founding Zoho Corporation with her brother in 1996.

Radha Vembu’s early life and education played a crucial role in shaping her career and laying the foundation for her success as an entrepreneur. Her passion for mathematics and science, combined with her exceptional academic performance, provided her with the skills and knowledge she needed to excel in the world of Technology.
