What is it in a game?

For those who have asked just like that should know, playing games holds a lot of importance. Children’s toys and games have a significant influence on a person’s character development and mental growth.

There is a startup that has picked up on this potential,  Kozhikode-based ‘Brain Factory’.

A Startup for children's games, Brain Factory | Startup Story

This startup creates beautiful Montessori toys for kids. 2018 marks the beginning of Brain Factory’s journey. The programme is the brainchild of Kozhikode native Jidu Pokinarambath. Behind the scenes, Brain Factory is run by his Sister Sariga, who is in charge of the product identification and customer support divisions along with Abhijith, who is experienced in production-related operations, and Atul, who has experience in the sales division.

Brain Factory mainly operates in the Open Ended Play segment. Making toys that are suitable for a child’s age and stage of development is a key component of open-ended play. It is produced in association with a separate manufacturing facility outside of Kerala. Artisans from Channapatna, Karnataka create dolls and toys for Brain Factory. Brain Factory creates a variety of toys, including push-and-pull, hammer-and-peg, and stacking toys. Arya Neem is one of the basic components employed in creating these. At the moment, internet retailers like Bengaluru-based Nestery and Amazon are mostly used to promote their toys.
