Blive becomes 1st EV Platform to Deploy Electric Kick Scooters for Food Delivery

The first platform in India to use electric kick scooters for food delivery at the International Airports of Mumbai and Delhi is Blive, the country’s top multi-brand EV retailer. More than 30k air travellers each day at the largest airports in the nation will benefit from the company’s EV solutions thanks to partnerships with Lite Bite Foods (LBF) and Devyani International Limited (DIL).

Notably, KFC, Pizzahut, Costa Coffee, and Punjab Grill are just a few of the well-known brands that are housed by DIL and LBF, two of India’s major food chain operators. With this change, Blive is now prepared to assist its partners in cutting down on client wait times, enhancing the convenience of delivery personnel, lowering carbon footprints, and facilitating a hassle-free airport experience.

DIL and LBF at Mumbai and Delhi airports were required to solve the difficulties, such as assuring prompt delivery of orders and decreasing waiting time, with sustainable solutions as travel picked up and passenger traffic increased. The immensity of the airport caused orders to be dropped, workers to become exhausted, and consumers to wait longer since their personnel had to go a distance between counters and clients on foot. The food chain operators were able to meet the increased consumer expectations, improve employee performance, and support environmental goals by implementing electric kick scooters for deliveries provided by Blive.

Blive is assisting its partners in taking the first step towards sustainability and lowering their carbon footprints by forming this cooperation with DIL and LBF. They will be able to take on the communal duty of tackling climate change with new and eco-friendly solutions thanks to Blive’s EV solutions. In order to encourage and achieve 100% e-mobility adoption in India, the multi-brand EV platform in the second stage of this cooperation will expand its EV solutions to more than 655 DIL outlets and more than 150+ LBF outlets.

Samarth Kholkar, CEO and co-founder of BLive, commented on this “We have always made an effort to come up with novel answers to the e-mobility problems that are now being faced. Electric delivery cars are in great demand. One of the busiest and most significant airports in the world is Mumbai Airport. Here, our partners were having trouble keeping up with the increased passenger traffic and consumer demands. We are happy that the electric scooters we offered them allowed them to shift to clean mobility while also assisting them in addressing their difficulties with on-time meal delivery. We are certain that such creative actions and significant partnerships will advance organisations’ goals for a cleaner, greener, and better future while simultaneously advancing commercial objectives.”

Blive, a multi-brand, digital-first EV shop, has expanded its footprint with 19 outlets around India. In order to take advantage of the consulting company’s industry knowledge in speeding up dealer onboarding, it recently welcomed Deloitte as a knowledge partner. In order to promote EV adoption, speed up decarbonization, and battle climate change, the brand plans to have 100 EV stores by 2024 and is now expanding its reach to additional places.
