The results are in, and Naatu Naatu has WON the 2023 Oscars! The song made history by becoming the first song from an Indian movie to take home the ‘Best Original Song’ Award.This is the third major international recognition for “Nattu Nattu” written by MM Keeravani and composed by Chandra Bose, the world hit. It won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. It also won the Best Song Award at the 28th edition of the Critics’ Choice Awards. Rahul Sipligunj and Keeravani’s son Kala Bhairava have sung the song. The Dolby Theater witnessed the mesmerizing music of Keeravani at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony.
Rajamouli’s own Baahubali witnessed the comeback of Keeravani who announced his retirement in 2014.
