POCO X5 5G is all set to launch in India on March 14
The Chinese smartphone maker stated on Thursday that the Poco X5 5G will be available in India on March 14. Poco announced the device’s debut date and time via a video teaser on Twitter. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart. The new Poco X-series smartphone looks to come in three distinct colour variants and is likely to be reasonably priced. In February, Poco launched the Poco X5 5G in a few worldwide countries. The Snapdragon 695 SoC powers it. The smartphone also has a triple back camera arrangement led by a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging capabilities.
The official Poco India Twitter account teased the upcoming debut of the Poco X5 5G. The debut ceremony will take place on March 14 at 12pm (noon) and will be livestreamed on YouTube. It is known that it will be available for purchase on Flipkart. The teaser video shows us the smartphone for the first time and reveals at least three colour options, although without going into detail. The Poco X5 5G was released in certain worldwide regions last month, with the top-end edition with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costing $289 (approximately Rs. 24,700). It is available in three colours: black, blue, and green. The Indian edition is expected to cost less than Rs. 20,000.
The Poco X5 5G runs Android 12-based MIUI 13 and has a 6.67-inch AMOLED full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The selfie snapper is housed in a hole-punched cutout on the display. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The Poco X5 5G includes a triple rear camera array with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor for optics. There is also a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. It also has up to 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. It has a fingerprint sensor on the side for authentication and supports the face unlock function.
