The Kochi Chapter of the Institute of Professional Banking (The Smart Owl) was inaugurated on February 22, 2023, at the Kerala Start-up Mission (KSUM). Mr Hibi Eden, Member of Parliament for the EKM constituency, officially opened the event. Many dignitaries attended the event, including Rev.Dr.Abraham Mulamoottil, President of the World Peace and Sustainability Initiative, Dr. Rajesh S Pyngavil, Senior Professor at Rajadhani Business School, and K. Anand, Managing Trustee of the Adi Shankara Group of Institutions.
The Post-Graduation Certificate in Retail Banking (PGCRB) is the institute’s flagship course for recent graduates. Bank aspirants gain knowledge of retail banking principles, products, and services in 90 days. This programme ensures that students understand the dynamic realities of the banking sector while emphasising various aspects of banking that will enable them to work as an Officer with a bank.
