Dubai launches the Emirati Initiative, a new online platform offering services to enhance the lives of citizens. Through the DubaiNow application, the new initiative provides 153 services to Emiratis in a single window platform. The initiative includes free parking, the ability to request land, the ability to apply for grants, and many more.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, First Vice President of the Dubai Council, and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs, launched the “Emirati” initiative.

Sheikh Hamdan said the “Emirati” initiative reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to harness technologies to enhance people’s happiness and transform Dubai into the world’s best city to live in. He directed the Digital Dubai Authority to work with various Dubai Government entities to ensure all the services required by citizens are added to the platform by the end of 2023.

In its first phase, the Emirati initiative enables citizens to benefit from digital services covering multiple sectors and services, including housing and construction grants that conform to the “Housing Path,” social benefits, Al Furjan events, a lucky card, subsidies for electricity and water, and others.

Citizens can access these services directly by using the “Dubai Now” application with their digital identity, as they are directly directed to the “Emarati” platform in the smart application, while the next stages of the initiative will see a comprehensive qualitative expansion of services to citizens at the level of different sectors and services.

The second phase of the “Emirati” initiative on the DubaiNow application will be launched during the first quarter of 2023. It will provide more than 15 services to citizens, including housing services, land allocation, social benefits, offering health insurance (Enaya) and Esaad cards, and neighbourhood events.

The app has undergone major upgrades over the past few years and has expanded the number of services provided by various entities.

Launched with the aim of making customers’ lives easier and improving their quality of life, the Dubai Now application provides access to all city services through a single application.
