Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has surpassed the 1,000-crore mark at the global box office. According to a tweet by Yash Raj Films, the film gross Rs. 623 crore at the Indian box office and Rs. 377 crore in international markets. In terms of net box office collections in India, the undercover thriller earned 516.92 crore, making it the fastest film to reach 500 crore, according to the film production company’s tweet. The production company previously announced that Pathaan movie tickets will be available for 110 this week at key multiplexes such as PVR and Inox Leisure.
According to reports, Pathaan is the fifth Indian film to cross the 1,000-trillion-dollar mark worldwide, following Dangal (1,968.03 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (1,747 crore), KGF 2 (1,188 crore), and RRR (1,174 crore).
Pathaan is the first Hindi film, according to Yash Raj Films, to break the 1,000-crore worldwide barrier during its first phase of release.
It is important to note that Dangal’s collections increased significantly after it was released in China in the second phase. Pathaan, which was released on January 25, has been breaking records. The YRF production, directed by Siddharth Anand, has been released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan thanked the audience for Pathaan’s success, saying that the entire team is extremely grateful—first, to the audience; and second, to all of the people in the media for supporting the film so much despite the fact that there may have been things that could have hampered the film’s happy release. Following Pathaan’s unprecedented success, Shah Rukh Khan will appear in Atlee’s Jawaan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
