Elon Musk said on Wednesday that he has hired a dog to take over as CEO of Twitter. Musk wrote in a tweet, “The new CEO of Twitter is great,” including a photo of his pet dog “Floki” sitting in the CEO’s chair.
It was followed by, “So much better than that other man!”
The dog “has style,” according to Musk, and is “excellent with numbers.”
Regarding Musk’s article, several users commented. One person commented, “I guess he was the only one insane enough to take the job,””He is perfect for the job,” Musk retorted.Another user questioned whether Twitter would introduce the opportunity to report animal mistreatment under the new administration.
Musk had stated in December of last year that he would only oversee the software and servers teams if he found “someone crazy enough” to succeed him.He said this in response to a survey he conducted, in which 57.5% of respondents suggested he should resign as CEO of Twitter.
In the meanwhile, he had added, “Nobody wants a job that requires them to really maintain Twitter. There isn’t a replacement… Finding a CEO is not the issue; the issue is finding a CEO who can keep Twitter operational.”
