PedalStart, a Gurugram-based firm that uses a hybrid model of incubators and accelerators, is launching Agcuabtor as part of its most recent effort for start-ups focused on agri-tech. Selected firms will have access to mentorship from well-known subject-matter experts through the incubator. To promote innovation and industry growth, the cohort brings together some of the top brains in agriculture and technology.
An effort for agritech businesses called Agcuabtor is being launched by the Gurugram-based startup PedalStart and a hybrid model of incubators and accelerators. The goal of this programme is to bring together startups in the agricultural – technological sector from all over the world on one platform. This will aid startups in their development and growth within the ecosystem.
Selected entrepreneurs will receive mentorship from illustrious industry leaders through the Agcubator. To promote innovation and expansion in the farming industry, the cohort brings together some of the most brilliant minds in agriculture and technology.
Twenty startups will travel with Agcubatorfor six weeks after going through a stringent three-stage screening procedure. The screening procedure will start with signing up for the waiting list, then move on to reviewing the application, and finally, setting up a connection with the analysts to start the adventure.
The cohort will give aspiring business owners the chance to collaborate with experts in their field along with investors, and other businesses from around the globe. It will broaden the pool of possible partners and collaborators.
The PedalStart Agcuabtor cohort is open to companies in a variety of agricultural – technological fields, including farm management software, agricultural biotech, precision agriculture, hardware solutions, farm infrastructure, agrobotics, farm mechanisation, farm automation, food quality, safety, processing, and traceability, as well as logistics & animal husbandry, warehousing, and agricultural-fintech.
After the success of their previous cohort, Zero-to-One, which was designed for early-stage businesses from various industries, Manas Pal, co-founder of PedalStart, revealed that they are now prepared to launch a new cohort, Agcubator. It will be a platform to support the agricultural technology startup industry. They are looking forward to onboarding businesses from the domain to seed and expediting their journey. The cohort will hopefully be a platform for entrepreneurs to revolutionise their path in the shadow of domain experts.
