Superstars from the south cinema, including Ram Charan, Yash, and Chiranjeevi, attended the E-Prix, which was staged for the first time in India. Jean-Eric Vergne of France took the first place, followed by Nick Cassidy of New Zealand and Sebastian Buemi of Switzerland.
The Hyderabad race project was postponed because of the changes in government regulations. Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, and Lucknow were all slated to host the inaugural Indian Grand Prix by 2007. Greater Noida’s Buddh International Circuit hosted the inaugural Grand Prix in 2011.
The Hyderabad racetrack will be ready following that. As a result, the inaugural single-seater Formula E race of the 2022–2023 Formula E World Championship took place in India.
