With a single 48V 30Ah lithium battery, Freedom is the second electric scooter manufactured by the company. Its reported riding range is between 70 and 75 kilometres, and charging takes between 5 and 6 hours. It does feature halogen headlamps with LED daytime running lights, however it does not have a riding mode. It is a scooter that moves slowly. The top speed is therefore 25 kmph. In India, Okaya Freedom is priced at Rs 74,899 (ex-showroom).
The 48V 30Ah Lithium battery pack in the ClassicIQ, an economical electric scooter, has a battery pack that is identical to the Freedom’s and boasts a riding range of 60–70 km on a single charge. It features complete LED lighting, including LED daytime running lamps, and has a top speed of 25 kmph. Priced at Rs. 74,499 USD, Okaya ClassicIQ (Ex-showroom).
Once it enters the market, the Okaya Fast F3 will face competition from the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1 Air, and Okinawa variants. The country’s electric scooter market has experienced rapid expansion in recent years, with the majority of automakers launching multiple models. It will be interesting to see what other features this scooter from Okaya has in the future.
