Dhoni Entertainment Private Limited (DEPL), the film production company promoted by cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has revealed the name of its first cinema.
Titled ‘Let’s Get Married’, the movie will feature Harish Kalyan, Ivana, Yogi Babu, and Nadia Moidu in prominent roles. The movie is directed by newbie Ramesh Tamilmani who also handles the music department. The story is by Sakshi, the wife of Dhoni. She is the managing director of the company.
The shooting of the movie, which is touted as a family entertainer, started in Chennai. The company aims to make movies that cater to the family audience across India. “Dhoni Entertainment is looking for good scripts. We intend to do more movies in Tamil. We hope this beginning would mark a long and effective inning of Dhoni Entertainment in the Tamil Cinema,” said Vikas Hasija, business head, DEPL.
