Dubai’s Museum of the Future gets a new robo pet. The robo dog with 3D vision moves using 17 joints. Designed by Boston Dynamics, it uses 360-degree perception to map terrain. It is capable of balancing on uneven terrains such as stairs. Using sensors, it collects 2D and 3D information. It navigates on terrain with the help of machine learning (ML).
