The Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has launched the platform MAARG (Mentorship, Advisory, Assistance, Resilience, and Growth), a portal for mentorship for startups across sectors and geographies. The portal will go live on January 16.

The matchmaking phase of the portal will let startups connect with mentors and discuss their needs. During the event, the minister will also award outstanding startups that have shown exceptional capabilities in terms of financial gains and measurable impact on society. The winners will receive a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh each. Rs 15 lakh will be awarded to one outstanding incubator and one accelerator each.
