The brand Lamborghini does not require an introduction. This name that carries a regal touch makes the Italian luxury sports car brand unique. However, currently, the brand and the Lamborghini family have no ties. In 1998, Volkswagen bought Lamborghini. Now, the Audi business unit of Volkswagen handles the business of Lamborghini.

Ferruccio Lamborghini, who was an automobile designer, mechanic, engineer, vintner, and entrepreneur, started the Lamborghini Automobile Company in 1963. Over time, the brand became the most popular luxury car brand in the world. The Lamborghini family’s majority of wealth came from the ownership of the car company. Besides the automobile venture, this rich family in Italy had a strong base in other businesses such as wineries, real estate, and farming. Hard work, better investment, and luck built the empire. Ferruccio Lamborghini’s children are Tonino Lamborghini and Patrizia Lamborghini. It was big news when Tonino Lamborghini showed interest in investing in Kerala a few days ago.

A well-known Italian entrepreneur, Tonino Lamborghini is the founder of the Tonino Lamborghini group, which was established in 1981 in Bologna, Italy. The group is a lifestyle brand that follows Italian tradition and luxury. It has been a synonym of the ‘Made in Italy’ tag for more than 30 years. The group designs and develops a range of luxurious products and services such as mobile phones, watches, spectacles, jewellery, home appliances, textile, sports accessories, Italian beverages, five-star hotels, and chic restaurants. The brand’s products are valued globally. The group envisions bringing Italian art and design to a global audience through its exclusive and luxurious products.

If Tonino Lamborghini is Ferruccio Lamborghini’s son from his first marriage, Patrizia Lamborghini is Ferruccio’s daughter from his third marriage. Patrizia takes care of the Lamborghini family’s Umbria estate and wine business. Currently, the vineyards are spread over a total of 30 hectares. Like her father, she also aims to win people’s minds by making quality wine.
