Credit guarantee schemes also help startups to a great extent. A third party evaluation is being conducted to see how effective the seedfund scheme is. This test will help Startup India to make the seed fund scheme a bit better. Startup India provides Rs 1000 crore fund exclusively for women entrepreneurs. A dedicated mentorship platform will be created for startups. There is also a plan to give more attention and consideration to start-ups of national importance. There is potential for startups in areas such as deep tech, climate tech and sustainability. Startup India will also launch new programs to unlock better investment opportunities. Pitching sessions are held for startups in different parts of the country.

One-third of the beneficiaries of Startup India’s programs will be women. Startups are getting a lot of help from central and state governments. Such schemes should be known and utilized, she said.
