What kind of impact will the Funding Winter have on Indian startups?

What advice would you give Entrepreneurs seeking funding?

What to watch out for when investing in a business The Managing Partner of the Investment firm ‘Seafund’, Manoj Kumar Agarwal, speaks with Channeliam.com.

When choosing a business for investment, founders are frequently given more weight than business. Founders are more significant than the industry, despite its importance.

What decisions has the founder made, and how does he see the company?

What area of expertise does the founder possess?

It will be examined how committed he is and whether he has the necessary skills to lead a start-up. Considering how challenging it is to create a startup, run it, and raise money.

Additionally, the team’s composition is crucial. There may be one or multiple founders. In the beginning, there won’t be a sizable crew. Even a squad of four or five will be evaluated, though. Verify their technology and the suitability of their product-building staff.

We’ll check the product’s market penetration level. Additionally, customer reviews will be examined. Usually, these are examined before making an investment. Indian Startups have also suffered from the funding winter. Data analysis reveals that investments in the late stage are currently less common than those in the early stage. However, Indian entrepreneurs have not been as negatively impacted as Startups in Europe and the US.

People appear to be becoming slightly more cautious. They carefully consider their options before making a decision. It might have an effect. However, things could change. See how the next three to six months develop. In 2023, funding may proceed a little slowly. The top firms, however, don’t have any trouble raising money or receiving a fair valuation.
