Deepika Padukone has become the first Indian to unveil the FIFA trophy, making the country proud. Deepika unveiled the trophy with former Spanish footballer, Iker Casillas Fernandez. The unveiling of the trophy, made of 18 carat gold and weighing 6.175 kg, is a very important part of the pre-match ceremonies. In a white shirt, brown overcoat, black belt and a hundred watt smile, Deepika dazzled millions of cameras flashing around the stadium. Deepika Padukone has an unparalleled global influence. Deepika was a jury member representing India at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Deepika was the only Indian in the list of 10 most beautiful women in the world in the assessment of ‘Golden Ratio of Beauty’. Even Though she has marked herself as an actor, producer and entrepreneur, Deepika gained attention for opening up about the depression phase she went through. Deepika Padukone was also chosen as the global face of luxury brands Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Levi’s, Adidas, from India. Deepika’s next release is Shahrukh Khan starrer Pathan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film will release on December 23.
