India’s first mass segment Flex Fuel Prototype Car

Maruti Suzuki launches the Wagon R Flex Fuel prototype vehicle
It is India’s first mass segment flex fuel prototype car
The vehicle is in sync with the Indian Government’s clean and green initiatives
The prototype vehicle has an upgraded engine designed for higher ethanol-blended petrol  

It can run on any ethanol-petrol blend between 20 per cent (E20) and 85 per cent (E85)
Engineers of Maruti Suzuki designed and developed the vehicle locally
The vehicle is designed in a way to ensure durability
It complies with the BS6 Phase-II emission norms
Maruti envisions making its entire product range E20 fuel material compliant by March 2023
