As the first boy in India to receive a Master’s degree at such a young age, Hyderabad, Telangana native Agastya Jaiswal has written history by completing his post-graduation at the age of just 16. He recently received a first-division sociology degree from Osmania University. The teenager expressed his admiration for his extraordinary achievement and thanked his parents and teachers for supporting him and helping him find his own path. He also discussed his efforts to overcome challenges in order to show that nothing is impossible.
The 16-year-old is considered a “child prodigy” who has excelled in sports, music, and academics. He can type the alphabet from A to Z in just 1.72 seconds.
Being ambidextrous allows him to write with both hands. He also competes at the national level in table tennis and is a motivational speaker across the world.
Agastya, who is known as the “Google Boy” for his extraordinary capacity to respond to nearly 500 questions at the age of 5, has broken numerous records, according to Times Now. In 2020, he graduated with a BA in mass communication and journalism, making him the youngest Indian to do so at age 14. At just nine years old, he is also the youngest person in Telangana to pass the SSC board exams. Agastya has always been educated at home and trained under the guidance of his parents.
