Dev Joshi, a television actor, revealed that he will be travelling around the moon for a week in 2023 as a member of the “dearMoon CREW.” The ‘dearMoon’ project, which is the first civilian voyage to the Moon, was initially introduced in 2017. According to the project website, Yusaku Maezawa, a Japanese millionaire who bought all of the seats on the rocket in 2018, disclosed the names of the eight persons who will be travelling to the moon with him.
Dev Joshi is well known for his part in the superhero TV series “Baal Veer.” His official website states that he began acting at the age of 3 and has since made appearances in a number of commercials, television programmes, as well as a few feature films and music videos. Ramnath Kovind, the previous president of India, even gave Mr. Joshi the “Bal Shakti Puraskar,” the highest civilian honour in India for those under the age of 18.
“Always Be Positive and Be Passionate, Because Miracles Happen, and They Happen Anytime,” Mr. Joshi advised after being chosen to take part in the dearMoon mission.
Along with Mr. Joshi, Mr. Maezawa, DJ and music producer Steve Aoki, YouTuber Tim Dodd, artist Yemi A.D., photographers Karim Iliya and Rhiannon Adam, director Brendan Hall, and Korean rapper TOP are the other eight people travelling with him. Additionally, there are two backup crew members: Japanese dancer Miyu and American snowboarder Kaitlyn Farrington.
According to the mission profile on the dearMoon website, the trip would span about six days round trip and revolve around the Moon without touching down. The SpaceX spaceship will be the most potent rocket ever created when it is finished.
