Students in the Technology and Management (ITM) programme at Gorakhpur University of Uttar Pradesh have developed a unique firing helmet for the military and security forces that is based on artificial intelligence (AI). The AI-based firing helmet may broadcast photographs and videos as well as GPS tracking data to the base or control centre. The helmet, according to one of the students working on the project, will also aid in tracking any soldiers who may have lost communication.
The AI Based Automatic Firing Helmet smart helmet model was created by Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelor of Technology students (B.Tech).
“To safeguard our police officers and jawans, we designed this helmet. Its goal is to locate the soldiers who are hard to reach because they are trapped in border regions due to the landslide and snowfall “explained Pratima Goswami, a student.
According to Goswami, this model includes a helmet, barrel, transmitter, receiver, bullet, HD portable DVR, battery, solar panel, remote, indicator, and trigger.
