Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), stated that as the Amrit Kaal plays out, the nation will experience an unprecedented explosion in economic growth and opportunity. He said that this year is the start of India’s Amrit Kaal, which is regarded as the most auspicious season to begin anything new, and predicted that the nation’s economy will reach $40 trillion by 2047.

In his speech at the 10th convocation of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar, Ambani predicted that India’s economy, which is currently worth $3 trillion, will increase to $40 trillion by 2047 and rank among the top three economies in the world.
In his speech commemorating India’s 75th Independence Day in August 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi used the phrase “Amrit Kaal.” When introducing the Union Budget 2022–2023 earlier this year, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman also used the phrase.
Ambani, who serves as the board of governors president at PEDU, claimed that three paradigm-shifting revolutions—clean energy, bio-energy, and digital—will direct India’s development in the coming decades and drastically alter people’s lives.
Ambani urged the students in his address to dream big and consider big ideas.He advised them to embrace a green mindset because the clean energy movement is all about doing so.
N Chandrasekaran, chairman of Tata Sons, said India is on the verge of a paradigm transformation and will see a period of phenomenal prosperity.He said that the nation would play a special and swifter role in the energy transition. The world will face a worse sustainability issue if India is unable to complete the energy transformation, he noted.
