The Indian Air Force (IAF) adds 12 Tata Nexon electric vehicles in its fleet. The goal is to reduce carbon emissions. The move is in accordance with the union government’s call for green mobility. The first batch of electric cars will be deployed in Delhi NCR units for performance monitoring. The force is planning to gradually replace conventional vehicles with electric vehicles. IAF will also set up an electric vehicle ecosystem. This includes the installation of charging infrastructure.
