Ever since Elon Musk’s acquisition, Twitter has been in trouble.
Recent reports say that the company has temporarily closed its offices to sort out the commotion Musk’s ultimatum caused among employees. Apparently, he asked employees to stay with the company “working for long hours at high intensity’ or ‘quit with three months’ severance pay.’ Several employees chose the latter, creating chaos in the company. This created confusion over who should be allowed access to Twitter premises. Hence, the temporary shutdown.
The offices are expected to reopen on November 21st. “Effective immediately, we are temporarily closing our office buildings and all badge access will be suspended. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 21st,” reads the memo.
