Ganga Vilas cruise to set off its maiden voyage on January 10, 2023. Ganga Vilas is the world’s longest luxury river cruise. The 50-day-long cruise ship would cover a distance of 4,000 kilometres. The voyage would begin from Uttar Pradesh and conclude in Dibrugarh, Assam. The cruise would reach the northeastern state on March 1. The ship would be passing through Bangladesh, covering 1,100 kilometres. It is the first cruise service based on a public-private-partnership (PPP) model.
