The tech business Zoho Corp., with headquarters in Chennai, said that its yearly sales topped $1 billion in 2021.At a press conference, Zoho Corp. CEO and co-founder Sridhar Vembu asserted that no other firm had established a billion-dollar product company in India.
Despite a 77% growth in annual income in India in 2021, India still accounts for 10% of the company’s total revenues.Similar to the majority of tech companies, the US and EU markets have contributed 42% and 30%, respectively, to its most recent sales numbers.
In the coming years, the company intends to establish 100 network PoPs (points of presence) so that users can use a quicker network.It presently aids users in monitoring the performance of their websites using more than 150 monitoring PoPs.
Additionally, it will increase its investment in technologies like blockchain and AI. The company’s R&D skills will place a greater emphasis on data, databases, and data centres.
